Poster Guidelines

Below you will find the practical information for poster presenters.
If there are any changes, this page will be updated, so we kindly encourage you to check it on a regular basis.

Schedule poster presentations

During the IAGG Congress, there will be two timeslots available to present your poster:

  • Monday, 6th July, between 15:30 and 17:00 hrs.
  • Tuesday, 7th July, between 15:30 and 17:00 hrs.

All poster presenters will receive more detailed information shortly regarding the specific scheduled times for their poster(s).

During these poster sessions, you may be asked to be present at your poster to answer questions and engage with interested attendees.

Please note that your presentation time slot is final and cannot be changed due to programming constraints.

Assigned Poster Numbers

All abstracts accepted for poster presentation have been assigned a poster number by the conference secretariat. These numbers are based on the corresponding topic, as listed below.

Poster guidelines

  • Maximum poster size is A0 (0.84 x 1.19 m) in portrait orientation.
  • Ensure all text is in a large font. Incorporate graphs, charts, and/or tables for better presentation.
  • You will find your assigned poster number on the poster boards in the poster area.
  • Posters should be mounted on Monday, 6 July, before 9:30 AM.
  • Posters must be removed at the latest at the end of the congress, Wednesday, 8 July 5:00 PM.
  • We kindly ask you to be present at your poster to answer questions during the designated poster viewing times, as indicated in the schedule above.

Please note that all poster presenters are asked to bring their poster printed to the congress venue; there are no printing facilities available. 

Publication of posters in the mobile IAGG 2026 app

All poster presenters are offered a few additional ways to promote their posters via the mobile congress app:

  • The full abstract will be available in the mobile app, based on the submitted abstract.
  • Poster presenters can upload a poster PDF to the mobile congress app for participants to view online.
  • Poster presenters can upload an audio file to the mobile app to provide a verbal explanation of your poster for participants who are unable to attend your poster presentation.

The steps for uploading the PDF and audio file will be shared with all poster presenters by April 2026 at the latest.
