Poster Presenters
Below you will find the practical information for poster presenters.
If there are any changes, this page will be updated, so we kindly encourage you to check it on a regular basis.
Schedule poster presentations
Due to the large number of posters, it is not possible to display all posters for the entire duration of the conference. Therefore, each poster will be displayed for two days. To organize this, posters have been divided into EVEN- and ODD-numbered groups.
During the IAGG Congress, there will be two time slots for poster presentations:
- Monday, 6th July, between 15:30 and 17:00 hrs. presentation of all EVEN-numbered posters (ending in 0,2,4,6,8)
- Tuesday, 7th July, between 15:30 and 17:00 hrs. presentation of all ODD-numbered posters (ending in 1,3,5,7,9)
During these poster sessions, you are asked to be present at your poster to answer questions and engage with interested attendees.
Please note that your presentation time slot is final and cannot be changed due to programming constraints.
EVEN-numbered posters
- May be displayed on Sunday and Monday.
- May be mounted on Sunday, after 10:00 hrs. Please mount your poster by Monday’s morning break at the latest.
- Should be presented during Poster Session 1 on Monday, 6 July, from 15:30 to 17:00 hrs.
- Please remove your poster from the poster board after the session.
ODD-numbered posters
- May be displayed on Tuesday and Wednesday
- May be mounted on Tuesday, after 07:00 hrs. Please mount your poster by Tuesday’s morning break at the latest.
Please note: do not mount your poster on Monday, as all posters will be removed on Monday evening. - Should be presented during Poster Session 2 on Tuesday, 7 July, from 15:30 to 17:00 hrs.
- Please do not remove your poster before the lunch break on Wednesday. However, make sure to remove it before 16:00 hrs. Any posters remaining after this time will be discarded.

All abstracts accepted for poster presentation have been assigned a poster number by the conference secretariat. These numbers are based on the corresponding topic, as listed below.

Poster guidelines
- Maximum poster size is A0 (0.84 x 1.19 m) in portrait orientation.
- Fixation materials on site will consist of adhesive mounting strips only. Please take this into account when preparing the material of your poster. Push pins, thumbtacks, or any other fixation materials are not permitted.
- Posters will be organized by topic and poster number
- Ensure all text is in a large font. Incorporate graphs, charts, and/or tables for better presentation.
- You will find your assigned poster number on the poster boards in the poster area.
- We kindly ask you to be present at your poster to answer questions during the designated poster viewing times, as indicated in the schedule above.
Please note that all poster presenters are asked to bring their poster printed to the congress venue.
Poster tubes and storage
Poster tubes and other materials can be stored at the cloakroom during the congress for an additional fee.
Publication of posters in the mobile IAGG 2026 app
- The full abstract will be available in the mobile app, based on the submitted abstract.
- Poster presenters can upload a poster PDF ( 1 page) to the mobile congress app for participants to view online.
- Poster presenters can upload an audio file (maximum of 3 minutes) to the mobile app to provide a verbal explanation of your poster for participants who are unable to attend your poster presentation.
All poster presenters received an invitation email for file upload on 1 June.
Please note that this invitation has been sent to all poster presenters. If you are the main author or a co-author responsible for uploading the files and you did not receive the invitation, please let us know so we can update this accordingly. Note that upload permission can only be granted to one person.
If you have not received the separate invitation email containing the direct upload link, please contact the Congress Secretariat via iagg2026@congresscare.com.
We recommend using Google Chrome to access your dashboard. The platform is also compatible with the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Please note that the platform is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
There is no strict deadline for uploading the above documents. Our aim is to launch the app around 22 June, allowing participants sufficient time to familiarize themselves with the content. We therefore recommend uploading the documents before this date; however, access to the upload platform will remain available afterwards.
