We are proud to announce the programme for the 23rd IAGG World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics – IAGG 2026!

How to use the IAGG 2026-programme

Congress dates
The congress takes place on the following dates:

  • Sunday, 5 July
  • Monday, 6 July
  • Tuesday, 7 July
  • Wednesday, 8 July

Navigate through the programme website

  • Click the menu sign at the left top of the screen to return to the full programme.
  • Use the date signs  on the center top of the screen to navigate between the congress dates.
  • If you don’t see the scroll bar, you may need to close the menu first, using the menu sign .

Searching for sessions and abstracts

  • Use the Sessions tab to search for sessions (plenary, symposia etc) by title, day and location*.
  • Use the Abstracts tab to search for abstracts presentations (oral presentation) by title, day and location*.

            Searching by topic will be made possible before the congress starts.
            Searching for posters will be made possible before the congress starts.

Floor plan
The RAI floor plan will be made available before the congress, to easily see where the meeting rooms are located.
Sessions held in Elycium 1, Elycium 2, the Auditorium, and the Emerald Room will be conducted in a hybrid format. All other sessions are strictly live.

Session coding
All concurrent sessions in the IAGG 2026 programme have a code indicating the session type. Below, you will find an overview of the codes used:

  • Oral (abstract) presentations: 
    • O-numbers: scheduled in the morning from 07:30-08:45 hrs (Mon/Tue/Wed)
    • CC-numbers: scheduled concurrent to plenary presentations from 09:00-10:30 hrs (Mon/Tue/Wed)
  • Poster (abstract) presentations
    • P-numbers (not available yet in the programme) : scheduled concurrent to plenary presentations from 15:30-16:00 hrs (Mon/Tue/Wed)
  • Symposia
    • S-numbers: scheduled in the afternoon (Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed)
  • Conference Workshops
    • W-numbers: scheduled on Sunday morning

Used colours for session types
The programme consists of several session types that are recognizable by colour. The legend of colors used will be included below in short term.
