There are a number of predatory congress websites advertising supposed gerontology and geriatrics congresses that impersonate IAGG2026. We would like to alert all members and delegates to be aware of possible scams and to strongly advise you to only use the official IAGG2026 registration and accommodation system for all bookings.

Registration fees IAGG 2026
Thank you for registering for IAGG2026. The congress fee not only grants you access to a world-class scientific program, but also directly supports the ongoing activities and initiatives of IAGG. As the primary source of funding for the organization, your registration helps ensure the continued advancement of research and collaboration in the fields of gerontology and geriatrics.
All registration fees include 21% Dutch VAT.

Registration types
* (Phd)Student: A student is a person who is officially enrolled in an educational program at a school, college, or university. The term refers to individuals who are pursuing their studies at different levels, such as secondary school, undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral (PhD). A student attends classes, follows a curriculum, completes assignments and examinations, and works toward earning a diploma or degree.
**Emerging Economy Rate is applied to individuals (no group registrations) from low-income and lower-middle-income economies according to the World Bank
listing available at the bottom of this page or at the website of the World Bank.|

Congress Workshops on Sunday 5 July
Congress Workshops are scheduled for Sunday morning and afternoon.
As availability is limited, early reservation during registration is recommended. Registration is only possible with a full congress registration.
Italian participants
Please note that any organisations wishing to sponsor the participation of Italian doctors must present their applications through our officially appointed agency at least 70 DAYS prior the beginning of the meeting (LAST DEADLINE IS 60 DAYS BEFORE THE BEGINNNG OF THE MEETING) , who will forward them to the Italian Health Ministry.The agent’s details are:

Group registrations
Group registration is available for groups of 5 participants or more. send an e-mail to IAGG2026@congresscare.com fore more information about the posibilities for a group registration.
Registration & payment
Individual registrations can be paid by creditard (American Express, Mastercard, Visa).
Group registrations can be paid by invoice or by credit card.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat. Cancellations made before 1 May 2026 will be refunded less 30 % to cover administration costs.
After this date no refunds will be given. All refunds will be made after the congress.

Press registration
Press registration is possible and includes all privileges of regular registration.
Only accredited journalists or reporters, writers or editors with credentials from a newspaper, magazine, radio or TV station, wire service, syndicate or other news organization may register and receive a press badge.
Journalists / reporters must send their press ID to IAGG2026@congresscare.com. Freelancers must present proof from a news organization that assigned them to cover the meeting.

Accreditation
European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).
Accreditation for the IAGG 2026 Congress will be applied for at the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that were actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1)
as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Information regarding the conversion of EACCME® credits Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities.
Physicians wishing to convert EACCME® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.ama.assn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions.
Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA. For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.
