Geeske Peeters

Dr. Geeske Peeters is a senior researcher at the Geriatrics department of the Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. As an epidemiologist and Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health, she is committed to optimising physical and cognitive functioning and minimising the impact of health problems, such as dementia and multimorbidity. She has led (inter)national research consortia on falls, cognitive resilience, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people with dementia. As the scientific coordinator of the Radboudumc Alzheimer Center, she facilitates cross-centre research, coordinates the dementia advisory board (PPI), and organises outreach and awareness events.
