Joëlle Timmer ia a board member of V&VN Geriatrics & Gerontology and represents the board in the organization of the IAGG. She is employed as a Quality and Policy Advisor at Vivium Zorggroep, where she is involved in a wide range of policy and quality- related matters. Her current focus lies in preparing elderly care for future challenges to ensure its long- term sustainability. In addition to her professional role, she is pursuing a degree in Public Administration at The Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam.
